Byron Township has a new updated and easy to use website at www.byrontownship.org. New to this website is a calendar of events.

Byron Township has higher than normal turnout for Primary Election

On August 3, 2010, 35% of Byron Township voters turned out to vote. That is compared to 20% in August, 2008 and 25% in August, 2006. Higher turnout can be attributed to a 5 person race on the Republican side of the ballot for Governor, US Congress and State Representative and a spirited two person race for Governor on the Democrat side of the ballot.
